When my purchases will be shipped?
It takes a few days to process your order (order handing, pickup and delivery to our shipping agency). At this stage we usually have the products ready for the shipping in three (3) business days after the payment has been cleared.
What is the estimated total delivery time for my order?
Total delivery time of goods consists of two parts:
- Our processing time (usually 1-3 business days)
- Shipping time (3-20 business days)
So Total delivery time = Processing time + Shipping time
What are the shipping options you are offering?
We have currently two courier options for the delivery. Please note that times shown there are just an estimation provided by the shipping courier and sometimes it might take longer.
Standard Shipping (NL Post)
Usually, from the day your order ships, you can expect to be showing off your new hand-crafted purchase in around 7-20 business days - depending on country.
Express Shipping (HK-DHL)
We also offer an express shipping option during the checkout process. Our shipping partners advertise express delivery in 3-5 business days to any country world wide. It's important to note that in some countries, you may need to allow an additional 4-5 days for your local customs.
In case you are in a hurry and want to receive package before some specific date, please use Express Shipping option. In some cases standard shipping may take more time than expected and this could cause unwanted surprises for you.
What if my order is later than expected?
If your order hasn't reached within the times mentioned above, the best first step is to contact your local post office in case they are holding the package for you. You'd be surprised how often this is the case!
If you feel that your order is taking much longer than it should and your local post office was not able to help, contact us and we'll see what we can do. When contacting us, please let us know your order number and the full correct delivery address so we can help you as soon as possible.
I placed an order but I did not get the tracking number?
Depending on the shipping method it can take up to 5 business days from the order date to the moment the shipping company provides the tracking number. If you haven't received the tracking number within 7 business days, please contact us by sending an email to email@example.com and we will check what is causing the delay.
A tracking number was received, but tracking information is unavailable.
If you are using standard delivery tracking information is available only after the package receives NL Post logistics center. Usually this takes around 7 days from the order. In case the tracking does not work after 9 business days please send an email to us to firstname.lastname@example.org and we will check the status of the shipment.
Tracking information for Express Deliveries will generally be available within 5 business days, however sometimes it may take a shipping partner a little longer. If tracking information has not appeared after 7 business days, please contact us by sending email to email@example.com and mention your order number in your email.
The tracking information hasn't been updated. Is the order stuck?
A number of shipping partners update tracking information when a package is received at each stage of the delivery path. Usually this just means that the package is still on the way between to sorting facilities.
Import Duties and Taxes on imported goods.
Due to fact that we are sending our packages from our warehouse from China our shipments will be imported into your country and, in some cases, may be subject to import duties and tax (VAT) on delivery. As a recipient you are responsible for any additional charges for customs clearance. Lumi HK has no control over the imposition of these import duties or taxes and cannot predict what (if any) duties there will be.
In case there are any import duties or taxes you are responsible for paying them to receive your package. Because customs policies vary widely from country to country, if you have concerns about the potential that you will face customs or import duties, please contact your local post office or shipping carrier.
It is recommended that you investigate the relevant local laws in your country.
